How to Customize Your Chatbot Settings in Daisy Chat

No two weddings are the same, which means communication needs can vary widely from one event to the next. Daisy Chat understands this and offers customizable chatbot settings to better align with the unique tone and requirements of your wedding.


Whether you prefer a more formal approach for a black-tie affair or a casual, friendly vibe for a beach wedding, tweaking your chatbot settings ensures that Daisy Chat communicates with your guests just as you would.


Step 1: Access chatbot settings 

Log into your Daisy Chat account and select 'Conversations' from the left sidebar. This is where you manage all interactions between your guests and Daisy Chat.


Step 2: Navigate to 'Chatbot Settings'

Click on the 'Chatbot Settings' tab located at the top of the Conversations page. This will take you to the area where you can customize how Daisy Chat interacts with your guests.


Step 3: Customize your settings 

In the Chatbot Settings menu, you'll find several options to tailor the chatbot’s interactions:

  • Dialect: Choose the dialect that best fits your guest list. This helps in making the interactions feel more natural and culturally attuned.

  • Tone: Select from available tones such as Casual, Witty, or Formal. More options may be available to match the vibe of your wedding perfectly.

  • Confidence settings: Adjust how conservative Daisy Chat should be when answering questions. Options include:

    • Low: The chatbot will be more cautious, providing answers that may encourage guests to confirm details with you directly.

    • Medium: A balanced approach where the chatbot provides information with some prompts for guests to verify complex questions.

    • High: Daisy Chat responds with high confidence, suitable if you have a ton of information already on your wedding website.
